Why (Pourquoi) The Passion Behind The Book
About Robyn Webb
Robyn grew-up in the hotel business, literally; both her parents worked for the legendary Concord hotel in NY’s Catskill Mountains and her family lived on-site. Fine food, celebrities and bell stand were all part of her daily life.
Her father was once a comedian and actor, appearing on top American daytime talk shows like Merv Griffin and Mike Douglas, among others. His friends often came to visit, including comedian Rodney Dangerfield, who lived with them for some time, and Tony Award winning dancer and actor Gregory Hines who performed at Robyn’s first birthday party.
A seasoned and captivating speaker and consultant, Robyn Webb has clients as diverse as the World Bank, The American Bankers Association, Acacia Life Insurance, Sysco Food Company, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Sprint International, Navy Federal Credit Union, Whole Foods, American Trucking Association, Farm Credit Association and more.
Robyn Webb, a graduate of Syracuse University (BS Nutrition) and Florida State University (MS Nutrition), has been profiled by USA Today, Washington Post, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, Washingtonian magazine, Washington Business Journal, Associated Press, ESPN, The Food Network, Discovery Channel, Lifetime, among other major media outlets.
Combining her love of food with her love of travel, this globetrotter has been to almost every continent (Antarctica is on her to-do list), nearly 70 countries and every state in the union. Robyn’s favorite place on earth: Paris, of course, which she hopes you will discover in The Paris Vacation Apartments Guide: Where to Stay Without Getting Overwhelmed, Ripped-Off or Scammed.
Until her next journey, Robyn can be found with her husband, Allan, at their homes in Alexandria, VA and Miami, FL.
